I am not a fan of the podcasting. The one that I wanted to choose would not let me so the one I ended up choosing did not interest me. Hopefully, I can find the time to go back and really look through and find something that appeals to me. I would much rather read the info than to listen to it though. On the flip side, while reading some of the sites of podcasting I at least now know some of the lingo!

I LOVE this little girl - she has such attitude!!
okay, i'm a little out of order here - but for week 7 I felt that this info was way above my head. I am going to go back at some point and go through it again. This was info that was all new to me but I would like to explore it further!
My niece had set me up on Facebook a while back but I had not actually logged on until this exercise. It was lots of fun to look up different people and communicate with them. Since I am new to life in the Library I feel that I am the least qualified to say how I think this site would be benefical to the library but as I use the site and learn more about it I am sure that it will become clear to me!

I FINALLY got a chance to look at Google Docs. I am going to try (at some point) to create a spreadsheet to use with my shelving results. I think this is a great site and the options that it offers are awesome!

I have browsed the Flickr site before - a guy I know used to post his pics on there. I only got to delve into it a little bit. I don't think I would use this site but I do like clicking on tags and seeing all of the cool pictures. One of the series on Flickr is pictures of EMPTY chairs - this annoys me to no end! HA

I tried LibraryThing and for me it is VERY simple. I'm not used to wandering around these type of sites so the simpler the BETTER for me. I look forward to spending more time learning this site -would love to get ideas for new books to read from others. On a postive note I saw an article and it talked about "aggregators" and I actually knew what they meant! Just knowing what a wiki is is a huge event for me! When I get a chance I am going to try Shelfari as well.
